It’s Race Day in Charlotte!

Justin Lofton and the No. 6 College Complete team kicked off the day’s activities strong at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. After his first four laps on track in the No. 6 Chevrolet, Lofton jumped to second on the speed chart. He remained near the top of the board through the session, ending first practice in the fifth position.

Final practice runs from 10:20 to 11:50. Coverage of final practice can be seen live on SPEED.

Lofton Partners with Robby Gordon’s SPEED Energy and Barz Golf

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Justin Lofton’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entry will have a slightly different look this Friday at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the North Carolina Education Lottery 200. Lofton, who drives the No. 6 College Complete Chevrolet for Eddie Sharp Racing, is proud to announce a new partnership with Robby Gordon and SPEED Energy Drink, which will add a bit of black and orange to Lofton’s familiar green machine.

“I am really excited about bringing SPEED Energy Drink on board,” Lofton said. “The new partnership with Robby Gordon and SPEED is more than just a decal on the truck. I have known Robby for a long time, racing against him in the desert.”

As Lofton pointed out, the SPEED Energy partnership reaches far beyond the race track. Lofton and Gordon will work together on future projects through Weekend Warriors Productions, a video production company that Lofton co-owns.

“With regards to Justin joining up with SPEED Energy, we’re really excited about it. Justin has done an awesome job in the Camping World Truck Series, and I’ve known him and his family in off-road for years. His Dad was always fast in the desert and Justin’s ability is awesome. To have him be part of the SPEED Energy Team we’re really excited about it,” Gordon said.

“I’m looking forward to him having a good run this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway and then racing again in the Best of the Desert Series. We’ve been having a lot of fun racing together and excited for us and his production company to start working on future projects together.”
